In 1995, a group of home builders created the Cabot Area Home Builders Association. The purpose of this Association was to associate the builders within its jurisdiction for the purpose of mutual advantage and cooperation of its members, while complying with all federal, state, and local laws. Our founders were dedicated to serving the needs of its members, as well as the needs of the community. Today, the Cabot area is still flourishing and this Association is following the same principles.
We are one of more than 800 local associations throughout the nation affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), headquartered in Washington, D.C. There is also a state association, the Arkansas Home Builders Association (AHBA), headquartered in Ft. Smith.
The CAHBA has several local members representing not only home builders and remodelers, but also manufacturers, service providers and other companies and services connected to the Cabot, Arkansas building industry.
Our board of directors consists of nine members and are some of the area’s most proficient industry experts. The association strives to keep Cabot's housing industry health in numerous ways.
